Why Helix?
A helix is a type of curve in three-dimensional space—imagine a coil spring or the handrail on a spiral staircase—that suggests upward movement and, by extension, the notion of attainment, growth, and a pathway in to the future. It is also the ancient Chinese symbol for sunrise.
We chose the name Helix for our professional services because we recognize that careers rarely travel in a straight line. Twists, turns, switchbacks, uncertainty; the circuitous nature of careers is more often the norm than the linear path most people envision—and we believe remembering this simple fact is important for anyone facing career decisions.
